Rigesa is only too proud to announce its adherence to the Business Pact for Integrity and Against Corruption
An initiative by the Instituto Ethos de Empresas e Responsabilidade Social, UniEthos - Formação e Desenvolvimento da Gestão Socialmente Responsável, Patri Relações Governamentais & Políticas Públicas, the United Nations Development Programme (the "UNDP"), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC); and the Brazilian Committee for the Global Compact, the Pact includes a set of guidelines and procedures to be adhered to by businesses and signatory entities in the relationship with public offices. The guidelines and procedures will be widely publicized in the market to become a model for the relationship with governmental agencies.
The signatory businesses will assume a voluntary commitment for business ethics thereby starting a new era in the private-public relationship, also including guidelines on the business-market relationship.
Rigesa is among the first companies to sign the Pact, a sign that ethics is a priority in the way it does business.
