Rigesa, the Brazilian subsidiary MeadWestvaco Corporation (MWV), participates on MercoAgro 2008, the largest technology and meat processing fair in the Americas, between September 16th and 19th at the Tancredo Neves Exhibition Center, in Chapecó, located in the state of Santa Catarina.
Rigesa, which operates in the frozen food segment, is to present to the fair its Bulk 200 liter container, an innovative packaging for the transportation of granulated, paste and liquid products which offers a variety of advantages over traditional drums, such as a lower weight, the gravity emptying option, recyclability, reduction in the utilization of warehouse space and benefits with container freight; Frostpack, a distinct type of packaging for the meat and meat product market, patented by Rigesa in Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, the Bulk for MSM - Mechanically Separated Meat, as well as Rigegraphics packaging, in paperboard and other innovative solutions.
About the Bulk 200 liter container
Ideal for replacing drums made out of metal, plastic and fiber and for reducing the utilization of warehouse space, the dimensions of the Bulk 200 liters are suitable for optimizing sea-going cargo containers. The use of valve bags reduces the risk of product contamination on filling and emptying, as well as offering a high level of protection from humidity.
About Frostpack
A different type of packaging for the meat and meat product industry, it is resistant to the cold chain, boasts an automatic assembly system, is capable of being palletized, and has high stacking resistance, and can contain printing in up to six colors, thereby adding value to the customer¿s product and brand name.
About Rigegraphics
