Rigesa won 17th Quality Award Flexo Prof. Sergio Vay - Dec 27, 2009 - 9:36:00 AM

Rigesa, one of the largest packaging manufacturers in the country, a subsidiary of MeadWestvaco Corporation (MWV), won the top awards of the 17th Quality Award Flexo Prof. Sergio Vay, organized by ABFLEXO / FTA-BRAZIL. In addition, the company was awarded in three other categories. The award ceremony took place in early December, in Sao Paulo.
Sweet Mangoes package, from Gold Fruit, won the Top Flexo Forum, that rewards the best flexographic printing of all categories, in addition to 1st place in category corrugated - cromia (6 colors).
Two other packages produced by Rigesa also were honored: the Petra Stark Bier from Petrópolis, with 3rd place in category corrugated - Grid (6 colors) Premium Beef and packaging, from Frigorifico Mercosul, with the 3rd spot on the cardboard wavy - process color (4 colors).
The Award for Flexo Prof. Sergio Vay is the most important award of the flexo industry in South America and recognizes the best works produced in the year in this segment.
